Experience:
Thomas D. Herman heads the corporate law department at Smith & Duggan LLP. His is a general corporate practice. He focuses on corporate organization, securities, domestic and international corporate finance, trade, mergers and acquisitions, employment law, and intellectual property licensing and protection. He represents both early-stage and established technology, software, service, e-commerce, and manufacturing companies. In his entertainment practice, Mr. Herman represents authors and filmmakers. Mr. Herman was formerly First Deputy Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Revenue and Managing Director of BRG&G International Strategies. He is Vice-Chairman of the Boston Landmarks Commission. He currently serves as a Director of the World Affairs Council of Boston and as President of the Pembroke College (Oxford) Foundation, Inc.
