Reed Witherby speaks at Northeastern University Symposium, "Accessing Democracy: How Law Shapes and Influences Our Elections."

H. Reed Witherby, of counsel to Smith Duggan Buell & Rufo LLP, spoke at Northeastern University Law Journal's annual symposium, "Accessing Democracy: How Law Shapes and Influences Our Elections," on March 11, 2016. Hosted by the Northeastern University School of Law, the conference addressed the increasing role of money in politics, the use of gerrymandering to influence elections, and the implementation of voter registration and identification laws as a means to alter the electorate.  Witherby’s presentation focused upon the problem of partisan gerrymandering.
