Thomas Herman Represents SecZetta in Securing Series A Funding
SecZetta, a provider of the most comprehensive non-employee identity risk and lifecycle management platform, announced on September 12 that it has closed $10M in Series A funding led by ClearSky with participation from Rally Ventures.
The funding will enable SecZetta to meet the rapidly growing demand for enterprise organizations to better understand, manage and reduce the risks associated with non-employee populations from third party-party organizations (contractors, affiliates, agents etc.).
Thomas D. Herman, a partner with Smith Duggan Buell & Rufo LLP, represented SecZetta in the transaction.
“Tom has been instrumental to the success of our company since its early days,” said Dave Pignolet, SecZetta’s president, adding, “He was essential to guiding us through the technicalities of the Series A round while always making sure we kept an eye on the big picture.”
SecZetta’s solutions are utilized by companies around the globe to manage third-party identity risk; create, control and respond to third-party identity requirements and processes; meet compliance demands; and minimize data breaches.
Thomas Herman has served as the company’s outside general counsel since 2011.
